Anthony Joshua Makes First US Chat Show Appearance (James Corden’s Late Late Show)

    Anthony Joshua ups his profile in the US as he is set to open up about his life for the first time in a special edition of James Corden’s US chat show The Late Late Show airing tonight in the US. He'll be joined by actor Tom Cruise, singers Jennifer Hudson, Harry Styles and comedian Russell Brand.

    The booking is a huge feat for the British host after the heavyweight superstar previously snubbed huge-money deals to appear on US shows, including Good Morning America and The Today Show, after his victory over Wladimir Klitschko.

    He’ll also have his first UK tv show appearance since his win against klitschko on The Graham Norton Show tomorrow.

    What kind of money do you think he'll pick up for it ??? Exposure i'd say is the main reason. Probably pennies to AJ

    Not sure how much he'll make but he got good offers from other US chat shows and declined them so they must be paying a nice amount to get his first exclusive US show appearance.

    The show is funny and gets good ratings in the US so its for publicity really but I don't like James Corden or Piers Morgan.

    If you conquer America ou can become the Pacquiao. If you do it as a premier hvw champion of the world you'll be bigger than life. On top of the world. Beating Wilder will do that for him. And if he did it in America there's no telling where boxing will take him.

    I don't really like James Corden but he has all the top Hollywood celebrities on his show and has massive buzz around his show so its great publicity for AJ.

    AJ is making appearances on US shows while Wilder the American champion isn't even on shows in his own country nevermind other countries.

    lol I haven't actually watched much of his stuff at all. Very little to be honest. The handful of times I have I've just sat there thinking to myself ''this guy is supposed to be funny?'' lol

    Joshua clearly starting to make waves in the US if he can get on the Late Late Show. Will be interesting to see how the US market view him. Can he charm the US sports fans like he has the UK?

    As for James Corden, to me he's just the fat guy from Gavin and Stacey, it's amazing he's become such a big star, The Wrong Mans show he did was good, then he was suddenly in Hollywood doing films and then the Late Late Show.
