My one hit wonder choice in Boxing would be ----

BUSTER DOUGLAS - based on his biggest upset against Mike Tyson :campeon::coleman:

    Leon Spinks.
Beat Ali , then was forced to lose in a rematch.

Douglas was a very solid B level fighter who got Tyson at the perfect time. Distracted(legal troubles) stupid(screwing Geisha's) and sick, 101 fever in the days preceding the fight.

However, when properly trained and fit, Douglas could have been an A level type rather than a gatekeeper type.

He was better than any journeymen of his era, and would beat most contenders most of the time.

The Douglas from that fateful night in 91 would definitely be a top 20 in this era and the last.

The Douglas that showed up against Evander for his 30 mil, would be a lower top 100 in any era.

    As for your OP......

    Leon Spinks.

He got an OLD, shot to bits Ali and used his youth and size to get a narrow W.

He would be KO1d by Wilder, Parker, Wlad, and even 43 y/o Oquendo would box him to a 10-5 type decision.

Michael Bentt - spectacularly upset Tommy Morrison by KO back in the early 90s, only to get knocked out by Herbie Hide months later, never to be heard of again.

    Zahir Raheem.

He beats Erik Morales, who in his previous fight beat Manny Pacquiao on points. Raheem -- I suspect because he was largely avoided after this win, and seen as too big a risk for not enough money -- fails to capitalise on the defining win of his career, loses an SD to Popo Freitas, gets KO'd by Ali Funeka, and promptly fades into obscurity.

Look at that capable gatekeeper shatter that TMT glass. Crazy when you think what Jack subsequently went on to accomplish at 168.

Rigo's career post-Donaire has been nothing to write home about, that's for sure.

    Trout was/is a solid B level fighter.

He'd beat Cotto 10/10X and gives every titlist he fights/fought one of, if not their toughest fight.

    Algeri.....guy's a DR.

And even with his head clearly not focused on achieving his maximum potential in the ring, he'd beat many B level types like Provo, Herrera, etc, and even trouble some of the A levels.

Like to him and Danny G have a go.

I know Danny'd get the W, but the RBR would have Algeri winning 9-3. :D
