Buster Douglas also went to the top and he didn't do it by throwing 12 punches a round. And even he was willing to defend the titles Fury wasn't by faking injuries and then claiming he wasn't mentally ready to fight as an excuse for his failed drug tests. Yes plural.

 

I'd rather knock someone out and leave no doubt. It is more impressive.

 

AJ won a very exciting fight, again much better to watch than the Fury fight, but was AJ at any one time as dominant as Fury was? I don't think so.

He didn't exactly trail blaze his way to a shot, he's only a champion because Fury got stripped and he beat probably the weakest champion of the last 50 years.

 

Winning rounds because you land 6 punches and your opponent 3 isn't dominant. Dominant is what Calzaghe did to Lacy. Do you see the difference there? Nothing Fury did was dominant. No doubt Fury won but it wasn't dominating. There was a fraction of a difference in punches landed in the majority of the rounds. That isn't dominant.

And from what I know Fury technically hasn't been proven a cheat yet.

 

But he shut Wlad down, AJ being almost knocked out certainly isn't a dominant win either.

Fury done what he was able to against Wlad who was avoiding combat and holding to beat the band . Not to mention turning his back on the inside and turning his back to run away in the other direction.

Fury stripped Wlad bare. It was a clinical deconstruction. WK didn't have a clue what was going on in there.

 

How is landing 6 punches and Wlad landing 3 shutting him down? You are parroting a false narrative that was used after the fight to try and prop up Fury's shitty boring performance. That fight was one of the worst Heavyweight title fights in ages. Only Valuev-Haye, Wlad-Haye, and Byrd-Williamson were worse in recent times.

Wlad didn't even break a sweat. How does a guy that was dominated so bad as you say not even break a sweat? It was a joke of a fight. Fury is done. He bottled it and was too scared to fight the rematch and went on to gain 120 pounds and claim mental illness to drink and do drugs. He isn't even Buster Douglas.

 

hahaha.. Fury never came close to being dropped in that fight. Wlad putting a beating on Fury in the 12th has become more myth than legend

If it wasn't for Fury reaching around to pull up his trunks , Wlad wouldn't even have won the round and he still only barely won it
