I think Joshua beats Bruno. I can make that judgement. But I don't think it's as one sided as some others do.

If Anthony Joshua would be a fighter from the 80s and Frank Bruno would be a current fighter, people on here would say Joshua would smash Bruno in the first round and they would be laughing about this comparison.

The problem here is ppl are looking at the eras not the fighters themselves and what they bring.Really alot of eras match up with others where fighters were at the same stage,in this era most top fighters are still not even hitting 25 fights in and are being labled as average fighters, pure nonsense.....

Go watch these 80's/70's 60's etc guys in their early stages...Ali was saved by the bell in his 19th fight and it was to a 185 pounder...give me a break. lol

Who in particular are you referring to? Not having a go at you but I'm just asking out of interest.

Im addressing to anyone reading ,im responding to you...you said you didnt think it was one sided as others do...im pointing out many think Bruno wins bc he fought in another era, i would like for anyone to list all the things that give Bruno the win ( realistic points)? I bet no one can.

You are getting far too carried away son. Pull yourself together. I remember Micheal Grant.

Why not wait one more fight? I might be able to agree with you then.

No need to be so hasty.

    Sorry Fergy,

I got distracted by the 'Transformer Twins' and neglected to answer your question.

Right now, I don't think Joshua is at a level of skill or experienced enough for any of those fights.

    - Tyson would do what he was doing to most of the guys he faced at that time - a demolition job.

    - Lewis does a Grant on Joshua. My guess is Lewis would be up for beating a big unproven guy, as he usually was.

    - Joshua would have to be able to go 12 rounds with McCall to stand a chance of winning but, McCall could do a similar job as Witherspoon, as and when Joshua tires.

You are getting far too carried away kid. Think about it. There's a good chance you are right about Joshua's potential. I believe in Joshua's potential myself. But why but your neck on the block now? Just wait one more fight. Don't be a sucker.

Bruno doesn't have to be an ATG to beat an 18 fight guy. Albeit, a fantastic 18 fight guy. Why not wait until Joshua can show what he's learned from the klitschko fight before risking looking very silly?

Boxing is a lot to do with career timing. The old adage that the "best man wins" is wrong. The best man is usually the guy in the right place at the right time.

Frank Bruno fought some of the very best fighters in history when they were at their absolute best. Lesser fighters have beat lesser champions when they were not at their best. Lesser fighters have beat better champions who were past prime.

Joshua is a future great. So far he has beat a past prime champion. That's all. Just wait one more fight.

It can prevent you from looking foolish.

We have disagreed before but you are correct here. It is entirely sensible to say these things.

Another doozy....so when he wins another fight that PROVES once and for all he can compete with ther greats of the 80's??? Thats all he needs just ONE more fight? Do you really believe what you post or what? lol

Wlad Klitchko would demolish Bruno in under 6 rnds had he been in the ring on April 29th.

Yes, because I'm sure Wlad's average output of 24 punches-per-round would have caused Bruno a real stress.
