I consider myself God fearing yet I'm not offended by his actions, it is what it is. I will say this I won't have anyone question my faith based on my interpretation of Wards character and moniker.

Nice point, some words can be interpreted differently by the other side or other listeners. It might or might not be the true intent of the speaker.
Btw I'm not claiming I have knowledge of kovalev's intent but sometimes we shouldn't take it too seriously.

Most on hear have very polarized views of fighters, there's a lack of understanding and tolerance but you should be used to it. Roll with the punches and stick to the facts the truth always reveals it's in the end (almost always)

I like Kovalev as a fighter even threw some bread down on him for the first fight, still I'm certain I'm thought of as a Ward apologist because I respect his craft.

 

Good point, i only hope you have some comfortable shoes because if Ward offends you as a God fearing individual I can't imagine what others have inspired you to do (or how long you've stood up)

Kov's fans want to criticize Ward and have you agree with them. The minute you dis Kov, they ****en cry to no end. It's the same with Loma and GG. Christianity has many different subsets my friend and there's no way you can control how anyone celebrates their faith. No offense but how Ward practices his faith shouldn't impact your personal ecosystem, if you think his beliefs are illegitimate that's fine I just don't think it should hurt or twist the fabric of his general character in your eyes. Unless of course God has revealed to you personally how he/she prefers to receive respect and praise.

 

Same. I respect Ward's ability too. Even though he can be boring and is dirty, he's got a ton of skill. I considered him the #1 P4P fighter before the Kov fight. Probably the best resume in boxing.

I really don't think he won vs Kov though. I may not like certain fighters but when it comes to ability and results, I'm 100% unbiased. Everyone knows I don't like Floyd but you won't ever find me saying he lost to Maidana, Oscar, Pac, etc. If I ever said anything like that it was pure trolling.

And actually he was mostly clean vs Kov, aside from clinching, and I don't have a huge problem with clinching since you are not damaging your opponents. I have a problem with his intentional elbowing, headbutting and **** like that.
