Despite the losses and struggles Wlad was moved up much quicker and not steered around certain kinds of opponents like Wilder has and still is... Comparing early losses and struggles of fighters who actually stepped up and achieved something makes completely zero sense in short.

Yeah, exactly. These guys stepped up. Wilder hasn't. He's had ONE fight against a top rated opponent, a guy since exposed as being far more mediocre than people realized at the time. Like I've said, in 35 years of following HW boxing avidly, I have NEVER seen a touted fighter face "opposition" THIS bad, for THIS long. It's unprecedented in the annals of HW boxing.
