Wlad's only way to beat AJ is to outbox him. Speed and stamina kills the muscle.

This is truly how the rounds are scored, real scoring.
But Wlad had monster rounds 5/6, I believe he did far more damage in round 5 than Aj, but the kd messed the card up. Aj was clearly ahead, people claiming Wlad was "winning" we're confused and swayed by the miny come back Wlad mounted.

Wlad really dominated round 5 Thu 8 but, 8 was too close as was 4.
Great hw fight. For as great as it was, Spence brook clearly topped it imho.

No kd drama but better fight

It was probably even, but I keep wondering why Vitali didn't take over after the 6th round. The tepid boxing style wasn't working and Banks wasn't decisive enough. Manny had him going for the kill.
(Off subject but)I'd like to hear Vitali's comments now that he let his brother throw the fight.

    I had Wlad slightly ahead.

Despite getting the KD in the 5th, Wlad probably did more damage to AJ with his rally.

The KD in 6 really took the wind out of AJ's sails, and you can see Wlad was stalking him and controlling the fight up to the 11th. Joshua tried to fight in bursts but not very successfully. The first half of the fight I shaded to AJ.

It's Wlad's fault he lost, really. He should have thrown the kitchen sink into it in the 6th / 7th rounds. Joshua was ready to go.

That all said, the fight was extremely close. If one has a biased eye, one could come up with all sorts of scores. If there hadn't been the stoppage in the 11th and the 11th and 12th had been close, this fight would have gone to AJ in Britain and to Klitschko in Germany, let's put it like that.

It's a good job AJ battered the **** out of Wlad in the 11th then and removed all doubt.

If my auntie had a pair of bollocks, she'd be my uncle.

That was my cards as well 95-94 for AJ.

The not thing that bothered me about this fight was AJ spitting put his mouth piece, and the ref giving AJ, who didn't have his legs an extra 10-15 seconds to fully recover while a new one was put in.
