Andre Ward Has Become A Floyd IVayweather...

Except Floyd would have ran for the hills before he rematched a guy that everyone thought beat him. Mind you it sounds like the Castillo fight but that was before Floyd became the king of cherry pickers. A good example though is the Oscar fight. Some had Oscar beating Floyd, and while I don't think oscar actually won, it was a close fight and Floyd was given all he could handle vs a washed up fighter. And Floyd signed a rematch clause which he had one year to sign, and instead of sign, Floyd opted to retire one year to the day, rather than Fight oscar again, which at the time would have been his biggest pay day ever. My point though is, atleast Ward is giving Kov the rematch, as scared as Ward must be.

 

He is the A-side tho, he won the last fight.

Or how about when he claimed he injured his shoulder then raised his arms in celebration, then claimed mayweather didnt win, then said God told him hed lose (contradiction), then claimed he healed his arm with holy water, then won the WBO belt but ducked every top 10 fighter, then...

I think I can give an honest assessment of Ward-Kovalev. I think Ward is a good guy who is trying to work on Kovalev psychologically. It is but one strategy often used by fighters. My problem with Ward is I have never cared for his overly conservative fighting style. Hey, he is a great fighter, as evidenced by his record but, like Floyd, he just doesn't do it for me. I would never pay to see either fight. I admire fighters who are willing to mix it up, like Spence, GGG, Brook, AJ, etc. Go out on your sword. Boxing is first and foremost about entertainment. Only the boxer is truly concerned about, or should be, his record. It is why an average fighter like Gatti was loved by boxing fans everywhere.
