Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

The press tour will be better than the actual fight.

 

I'm no Mayweather fan, it's a joke of a fight and should in no way shape or form count as number 50, but I'm still going to watch...

 

As a Mayweather fanatic how do you view the fight?

Exhibition and a way to make mega dollars or would you count it as a true 50-0?

I dont give a **** about this circus fight, Im not going to watch this anyways. The thing is that I cant stand that bunch of casuals and know-it-all people that will be proclaming this bull**** as the century fight and gives mcgregor possibilities as Maywheather is "only a runner". I cant stand this anymore man, when I m watching a sport which I dont know a **** about it I just shut up and try to enjoy it, but most of people have the wrong idea that boxing is like a street fight or a videogame and the strongest always wins. So all my friends are asking for my thoughts about this ****, I show to them the video of Chris van Heerden outboxing Mcgregor and I tell them, this is just a top 25 fighter in his division, imagine what would do to him one of the best P4P ever

 

Hopefully it's a decent card, I hear Jack vs Cleverly will be on there so that's a good start. Hopefully they don't match Gervonta Davis with some bum.

 

This is nothing but a money grab by both men. That's all this really is. PBF will make an easy 100 million and Conor will make a career high payday probably at least 30 million. As long as the fight is sanctioned it will count in the record book as a official win or loss.

 

If true, I wonder how much this will eat into Canelo-GGG ppv buys.

 

This fight was always going to do more but I don't think it will too much to be honest. I don't expect Canelo-GGG to do anymore than around 850K. GGG isnt a PPV draw.

 

Plus imo us boxing fans are owed one since Toney got embarrassed in full MMA rules.

My only hope is Mayweather goes in to prove a point.

 

I have no problem with this fight. All it does for Floyd is give him #50 and a big paycheck. It's not for P4P, it's not for any titles, it doesn't affect ANY other boxing matches. Everyone is sour just because it's Floyd, it doesn't change anything.

It's not going to enhance the man's legacy. It literally does NOTHING except give them a paycheck.

 

This is true if it was Conor vs Bradley no one would have a problem with it but since it's PBF people are up in arms.
