    Im one of the few who believe this wont be much of a fight. I think its a systematic beatdown by GGG who knocks Canelo out or his corner throwns in the towel. GGG is a terrible match up for Canelo. Of course i could be wrong and will be the first to admit it if the fight goes the other way.

    It's an unknown because of Canelos resume of welterweights and him never being in with anyone who could bang,smart thing would of been to have some tune ups at 160 but they wanted the PPV I guess.
    Have to say that I have a feeling that at some point Golovkin will step on the gas and look to take him out,I honestly feel that Golden Boys rep of bias judging is gonna hurt Canelo here,last time GGG thought the judges were against him in the UK he just stepped on it with a pace that I can't see anyone matching,if Canelo wins then wow he's one serious boxer cause he's facing a career middleweight King.

    I think people are putting too much into G's last 2 fights. Jacobs was a big boy that could bang and Brook didn't have the power to really concern G. I think G focused more on getting Brook in punching range than defense. If G had been as defensibly aware for the Brook fight as he was in the Jacobs fight, Brook would have had nothing to hang his hat on. G had to be a lot more cautious with Jacobs and it showed. Still put on a good fight, but not what we're accustomed to when watching G. This is his big chance to show the world how goods he is. I say he goes in there and puts on a show and takes Canelo out before 6. Won't be surprised if he announces that he's moving up to 168 in the post fight interview.

    Two things;
    What list of WW do you speak of??
    And the worst thing Golovkin can do against an explosive counter puncher like Canelo is leave his chin wide open by stepping on the gas.

    Surely I don't have to start listing his opponents,my point is that his career is made up of welterweight and light middleweights 154,there's a whole bunch of guys who he fought that weren't even career welterweights and at 154 he had two close fights against Lara and Trout though I've always thought he won those my point as you well know Isal is that he's not been in with anyone who could ever knock him out,I'm not hating on him Isal just stating a fact that it's an unknown,I suspect he has a very good chin but that's all we say until we see it tested.
    Golovkin on the other hand has shown he can take a shot from middleweights,I guess you think it would be bad for GGG to step on it on account of Canelo liking those guys who come forward at him like Liam Smith ect?

    Shane Mosley, Austin Trout, Erislandy Lara, Miguel Cotto, James Kirland, Alfredo Angulo are all proven at 154 and with the exception of Trout who is a terrific boxer, all can crack.

    Having power is but one gift or asset in a sport where much more is required. Curtis Stephen has power, but he's a bum. David Lemieux has power, but he was KTFO by a has been and outboxed by a journeyman.

    You can have all the power in the world, but if you're not world level then you're only true chance is just a puncher's chance.

    154>>>160 division

    I think canelo did fight a better p4p fighters but those are at 154 while the GGG fight is at 160, so the relevance is diminished.

    Rocky Graziano was known as "the best Middleweight in the Welterweight division"...due to the times he fought smaller fighters (no Jr. MW division back then), but he did knock out an older, tough Tony Zale in one of their 3 title fights, plus gave SRR a tough short fight in a loss. Canelo has the same type of "unknown" qualities to some degree.
