Weeds not that bad IMO but having the word 'arrested' next to your celebrity name is. Its kind of ok for rapper or a rocker but for a sports star, you start to wonder. One might also consider Wilders rightful outburst on Povetkins PED taking, whilst marijuana isn't a sports performance enhancer, its still drugs.

Wilder might not have taken any weed but right now he's bringing him self the attention that doesn't fit with a stable champion such as a Klitschko etc. The last two years has seen no real progression in his career and to fight Stirverne next, completes a full 360 in two forgettable years. Wilder probably makes big statements on social media in an attempt to erase the fact that the last 2 years hasn't been much of a celebrated championship. Social media also keeps him relevant. This latest one however, isn't part of the plan.

 

Yeah totally agree and its pretty much what I was saying. Obviously he's a role model and I have seen Deontay 'play' the part, with him giving out free tickets to youngsters for his Washington fight. I respect that, the act of giving is powerful.
