Never seen Kovalev this angry against a opponent Ward is in big trouble

    Kovalev is angry and wont be happy until he beats the living day lights out of ward

    Last time he was this mad, it was the build up to the Pascal rematch, Ward is ****ed with a capital F.:deal:

    Ward actually doesn't seem too scared. Ward has the mental edge going into this fight. We'll see on Saturday if an angry Kovalev will fight worse than the Kovalev that beat Ward in the first fight. The closest we have to go by is Kov in the Pascal rematch and that...may be the best Kovalev we've seen so this could backfire badly for Ward.

    Agree 100%. The fight game is not a good place to get too emotional, especially against a fighter like Ward. Kov better get his **** together or he's going to lose again.

    Kovalev is gonna wreck ward not only does he want to win his belts back that alone is a big motivation he also despises ward and wants to end his career

    This is all staged, these guys are just playing for the audience.They dont really hate each other, Kovalev hates the judges, not Ward. Still doesnt change the fact that Kovalev wants to chisel Wards face with his knuckles. It's what he does :risas3:

    1. When has anger won a fight of this level? Hagler had determination not anger.

    2. When has Kovalev needed anger? He was boxing well during the first half of the fight...anger would cloud this ability.

    Being THAT angry so close to fight night can be counter-productive. Some fighter's are able to channel that anger into dominating performances, while others can't utilize it properly and it essentially becomes their downfall.

    We'll see very soon I suppose.
