Because they're two different things and you look for any edge you can get in a boxing match and mental Warfare is yet but only one of many edges. Mental warfare is part of boxing and Ward has won the mental aspect of this fight. Kovalev might win this fight but that does not mean he didn't lose this mental battle, and Ward didn't get in his head because he's clearly lost it. There have been plenty of times where a fighter got the better of an opponent mentally and they still prevailed. With that said I don't feel that this is one of those times.

 

I wonder where the "In his head" phrase came from? Probably some jargon from some sissy non-combat related sport. These guys are professional fighters and Kovalev isn't some weak minded little ***** from the 'burbs. Ward is just a guy he has a strong personal distaste for who he believes is strolling around with his titles that were robbed from him.

I will talk to anyone here about anything I feel like so as long as I stay within the rules that D.R. (the owner) established. If you look at the sites stats it has traffic has been going down, and I attribute that to poor moderating.

With that said, stop being insecure, stop being a "bunny", this is boxing, this is "life".

 

Ward is in the TOMATO KAN Krusher's head no doubt. KANvolev ditched to press conference because he wanted no part of the face off..

 

Oh Yeah, he's in his head. Now how he performs as a result of that remains to be seen. This boxing is about controlled violence. Now there is a chance that he can come out and overwhelm Ward and get a knockout but the odds on that are low and is not recommended. On the other hand, Ward is just as angry but is dealing with it in a very different way. Still waters run deep. If anybody watched that first fight, they bore witness to the tenacity and the pitbull mentality of Andre Ward. He was no shrinking violet and he was thinking and making adjustments all the time. I don't know who is gonna win this fight but my money is on Ward because he is better prepared mentally.

 

I didn't think he was going to get out of that 2nd round. He really proved his mettle in that match. I've always been a big fan of Ward's, but to see him overcome that level of adversity against such a dangerous opponent was magnificent to see unfold. He's a great fighter.

 

So much butt hurt in this thread. We got guys falsely accusing OP being racist and trolls crying who can't handle the truth. Some of you are as out of control like Kovalev.

 

Btw, Ward made a good point. Keep in mind how this all adds up why your guy's little people's champs fall short when it comes to the moment of truth.

If Ward did that, there would be 10 threads by now on how he's a POS for walking out of the press conference. You guys need to start holding people you prefer to the same level and standard to those you hate. You are part of the reason why Kov is going to lose again.
