Ward is the most mentally tough fighter since PBF he's in Kovalev's head

    LOL.

You got it backwards. Kov is in Wards head. Ward cried forever about fans saying he lost. Kov cried too... but you expect it from the guy that lost... not the guy who "won"

Ward backed out of the Face Off, he started it, Kovalev got his revenge today, turnabout is fair play. No double standard here at all.

If someone reciprocates punching you in the face after you punch them in the face, that's call payback.

Ward is a POS for doing that, Kovalev got his payback, therefore not a POS.

I don't think I could say that Ward is in Kovalev's head. But Ward is definitely confident and cool as I cucumber, and I like his mindset compared to Kovalev's edginess. Kovalev will be intense and sharp, sticking to his style behind the jab of course but I do think more offensive, and won't be easy for Ward to handle. But if and when he falls loose at the seams a bit their respective mindsets really make me think, even more than the first one, it'll then be Ward's fight. It's just hard not to see something in it.

No tolerance for personally attacking other members would be pretty easy to implement, and it would be a huge positive change that would make this place more civil and welcoming. There is a lot of good boxing knowledge here, and we shouldn't have to sift through the slander to get to it or have thick skin to share it. Attack the POST, passionately and even graphically, but never attack the POSTER.

He lost his last fight whether you believe it or not. He's not the better man just by stacking his deck and using his own dealer.

However, Kovalev comes from a hard background and clearly has the skills and power to win. If he can control his anger, which I think he can, he should be able to perform. Ward has the major advantage in knowing if he still stands after 12 rounds he will win. It forces Kovalev to fight as if he needs a KO, which is difficult against a spoiler like Ward.

Or you could argue that Ward knew he lost and got away with a favorable decision. It was written all over his face. He had that same look that Ray Leonard had after Montreal. I mean it was the same look of "Damn I just got beat".

Ward is so worried about Kovalev that he took a moral victory from getting up. All he talks about is how he was knocked down and got back up. Since when is getting knocked down a good thing?

Who the **** are you, Skip Bayless? Doesn't have the mental fortitude? Are you 12? Kovalev was raised in a society that actually folded and collapsed. His father died when he was a teen. He wasn't even considered a prospect in Russia. And fought most of his career for free, in a literal sense. And he kept at it.

This was a very bad post man. Just very bad. Shocking bad post.

Actually he is 35 and addicted to sci-fi, video games and an amateur revisionist historian and present day victocrat forged in the furnaces of Afrocentric liberation theology.

No, I'm pretty sure someone would forgive someone for punching someone back if they got punched first, and snubbing someone if they snubbed you first, even sleeping with a girl to get back at someone is fine, if its consensual, not sure how or why you'd make the leap to raping.:dunno

Getting knocked down is never good but you're missing the point. It's how you get back up, how you respond.

Now matter who you felt won, these two will bring the best out in one another.
