I was discussing boxing related topic. You brought up his past which has no relevance on his current behavior at press conference and other type of media. As I've said. Good try.

 

Can you list some cases when an angry, irritable boxer beat the calm, assured boxer? And cases when that guy wasn't going to win anyway, like previous fights of Kovalev's. Sure it can happen, but those cases are only exceptions that prove the rule. Anger is almost never beneficial for a boxer.

I kind of accepted that Kovalev's anger about not getting what he felt was the decision he deserved would help him focus in training, but I don't think it's a good look to be as irritable as he is two days before. It just can't help.

 

You'd have better luck trying to reason with a rock. This is the guy who tried to argue with a straight face that Alvarez/Chavez Jr. was a better card on paper to the hardcore fight fan than Golovkin/Jacobs.
