5 is still more than anybody in history.

So do you not recognize Mayweather as Lineal at Junior Middle? Are you consistent in your view.

I don't recognize any 'catchweight' fights. If we had the original 8 divisions I could maybe see an argument to be made for them but we don't we have over double that amount. Saying Pacquiao was an 8 division champion is dishonest at best.

We had a poll here what was the better win. Pac Barrera I or Floyd Corrales. Pac got 90 percent of the vote.

    Your wrong.

Should be an "*" besides the so-called five lineal titles. Armstrong held three belts simultaneously when there was only eight. How many belts today does that translate to?

Pac's only had two title wins contested at a catchweight. Neither were lineal.

Cotto WBO Welter Title CW: 145
Margarito WBC Super Welter Title CW: 150

    So what's the problem?

Pac has 8 division titles because he's won world titles.

That's why they say he's an 8 division champ.

Pacman's lineal wins would fall in within 4 of the original divisions.

Pacquiao has the 2 best wins of the century so far.

    And 8 division titles too.

You are a knucklehead and a waste of time to try to have an intelligent debate with.

I don't think we should count the catch-weight "championships". They are BS quite frankly.

    They would fall
I have flyweight, featherweight and welterweight as being the only original divisions in which Pac was lineal and Pac beating Bradley in their third fight for the lineal welterweight title as being somewhat suspect.

Super Feather falls within the original Light Weight limit.

Bradley vs Pac III has much credibility as any other new lineage. It is notated as such on boxrec.

Did Pac beat the lineal lightweight champ while he held the super feather weight belt? If not, he can't be considered the lineal lightweight champ.
