    Good point. The ironic thing is that the snobbish, uppity fans are those who support the slickster types. Yet if you study boxing history you will learn that the vast majority of ATG's are the hard punching aggressive fighters.

    Just watched Archie Moore vs Joey Maxim I from 1952. Maxim was the light heavyweight champ and his purse was $100,000 to Moore's $800. The 36 year old Moore had to take out a loan to finance his training camp to pay for his first shot at the title; so I guess it could be worse.
