You would have a point if you were talking about a man's safety and health.

Bro, Mayweather can't punch his way out of a paper bag. He'll run around the ring, pose, pot shot, make mcgregor look like a fool for 12rds as the crowd boo's. But nobody is getting more than a black eye in there.

If it was GGG or Canelo he was fighting then yes, real ethical questions would have to be asked. Something like that should never be sanctioned. This aint that.

If people will buy, the networks, managers, promoters...etc will all host and support. Simple as that. If there's anyone to blame, then it's the fans, because they're the ones that will purchase. I already see people on message boards that aren't even remotely related to sports discussing this fight already.

Why even bother? The press conferences will be free and that will be the best part.

This fight is beyond a joke. Connor has ZERO chance. Not even a punchers chance. This will be worse than any other hyped fight, possibly ever. I give Conner a lower chance than any fighter Floyd has ever faced. Conner is getting dominated probably worse than Toney did in his MMA fight against Couture.

I still haven't seen the Berto fight and I sure as h*** am not going to watch this embarrassment. Conner got outboxed by Nate Diaz ffs and he won't have those tiny 4oz gloves on either. Like it would matter anyway.

EDIT: If it were Conner vs Pac, then you have a bit of an interesting fight, although even this version of Pac destroys him. Conner won't touch Floyd.

I was watching some mma videos on youtube about the fight. Those tools Rogan and company are hyping McGregor up like crazy. You watch enough of that bull**** and you too would start to believe this crap. For that reason, I'm worried. The mma casuals just might buy into this crap.

It's definetly pride . . . boxing pride. Pride to never even consider the fact that an MMA fighter could beat a boxer in boxing, specifically one of the best boxers ever in Floyd Mayweather. There's a mental wall that goes up when hardcore boxing fans think about this fight. Hardcore boxing fans refuse to allow themselves to even consider the possibility that Conor has a chance. It comes from an intelligent place, but it's purely theoretical and it doesn't specifically look the intangibles of Conor McGregor and why he is uniquely suited to give Floyd problems.

When boxers fight Floyd Mayweather, typically they over think themselves and psyche themselves out. Boxers over time develop bad habits and those bad habits show up when you're fighting someone as technically proficient as Floyd Mayweather. Conor hasn't had time to develop those bad habits that many of Floyd’s opponents had shown themselves when they got in there with Floyd.

I’m not predicting Conor will win or anything, I just know he possesses the ability to give Floyd problems. I still favor Floyd but not as much as I’d favor Floyd from 5 or 10 years ago. This version of Floyd may not be the same fighter we are used to. There are a lot of questions that will get answered here. It’s very likely that Floyd to turn his body to the side and get in the shoulder roll defense and Conor will be hitting Floyd’s arms and stuff like that. Conor has more power but the challenge he will have is to get Floyd in the positions where he can land big punches on him. It’s really hard to do, but it will be fun to see him try.

Any fighter will pose problems for Fluid, in a fair fight. However Fluid never fights fair. Add that huge freaking disadvantage on top of McGregor being a noob to the strict art of boxing, and he has zero chance in a Fluid rules fight. Make no mistake this isn't going to be a fair fight as it never is.
