Remember all the grief Floyd got for calling one of HBO's contract slave wages! Compared to what he ended up with, he was damn near right! Kov is reduced to addition ,whlie Floyd is dealing in multiplication! I get that Kov could care less about being paid. That's noble and all, but when it's all over, he may regret his financial dealings. He's making decesions from his heart, while Ward is making decesions from a logical prespective. I hope he gets good money from elsewhere. He's too damned good to end his career with little to no money.

 

Why do you think Kovalev is angry? The contractual rematch was illegally unacceptable to Ward's team. They wanted more money and would not take the fight otherwise. So Kovalev took $0 just to get his revenge and belts. That is very unfair, especially when you consider how stacked the deck is against Kovalev in terms of judges and the referee.

 

Stop playing the victim. Kathy Duva isn't ethnically discriminating against Kovalev. Who believes this nonsense.

 

I think Kov is rightly pissed off because the first fight was a draw and now in the rematch instead of sharing the pot equally like a prize fighter should, Ward has completely stole the entire pot and has left Kov with scraps of PPV sales. Its like Ward's team tried to price themselves out of this fight asking fro that exact figure, leaving Kov with nothing. Kov is fine with nothing though, so this 6.5million worth of frustration is fuelling Kov on tonight in destroying him and collecting whats rightfully his.

If somebody stole millions of me I would be very pissed off, this is Kovalev were speaking about here. I would not steal money of that man even if I had a gun and a full day head start.

 

You should consider having your ADD addressed with medication.

 

Sounds like you don't want to depend on ol' Kathy in negotiations. Wouldn't be the first questionable move she's made or thing she's said. I used to like her a lot years ago, still don't dislike her, but certainly doesn't seem to be the greatest out there.
