    I feel that Ward is starting to take over this fight. Kovalev is landing jabs but Ward is landing power shots.

    R5 Kovalev. Ward had a good hook, but Kovalev landed shots far more consistently and controlled Ward well with the jab. 3-1 Kova, 1 even

    This. Kovalev being too predictable. Ward IS staying out of range of Kovalev's right hand and tagging him when he misses.

    Ward landing more, with mostly arm punches (whipping rights on the body and left hook on Kovalev's temple) but eating lots of stiff flush jabs on the nose. Very tight fifth.
