I did not see that coming. I thought a dominating win for ward was possible, i didn't think ward could stop Kova. Damn... thats crazy. Punches seemed low and the stoppage seemed weird... but really, just imo but ward was bossing kova and he was becoming submissive and beaten imo... still, the shots were questionable and the stoppage was too. I had ward up around 5 to 2 or 4 to 3 going into that and he was in clear control. And every round was and would continue to get worse for kova. Regardless Im impressed tonight. Wards a super middle that went up and took on the bigger boogie man. Had a close fight and instead of hiding out with a controversial W he gives the guy a rematch and whether i question the stoppage or not Ward showed to me at least he is indeed superior. I dont do p4p lists but if i did hed probably be my number one. I do understand there will be a lot of anger over this tho for those that feel kova just got prematurely stopped, and from fouls no less. (I dont necessarily agree but i can see that perspective) Sucks it had to be somewhat controversial but still... im impressed.
