I'd rather see the EE eliminate each other :b2:. Let's get Bivol/Gvozdyk and Kovalev/Beterbiev next, the winner fights takes damage from those 2 fights and then fights Ward. :aaaaa:

I agree the last one was a low blow. However it wasn't a nutshot. Again we can clearly make a differentiation between a low blow and a nutshot. To see what a nutshot is, check RJJ B Hop 2. The last punch from Ward was below the belt but clearly above the nuts. Calling it a nutshot is inaccurate. A low blow it was though.

However, besides that, all the other ones appeared to hit the belt-line. So saying Ward landed nutshots as in plural is definetly inaccurate. You had multiple shots landed on the belt-line, and 1 that was low, the last one.

No, let's see Ward run the gauntlet, Gvozdyk, Beterbiev and if he gets by both of them unscathed (pardon me for a second:qmeparto:) then he takes on Bivol.

They were all below the belt line, and anything below the beltline hurts a lot, and is illegal.

The issue with this is. Let's say Ward does fight all 3 of them and beats them all. 50 years from now, people will say 2 of them are prospects who havent beat anyone. Gvozdyk would be overlooked etc. It's unfortunate but the truth. Not saying he does beat all 3 of them, but that's what would happen, and I'm sure you'd even acknowledge that.

What seems to be on the lower portion of the belt-line you are calling below the belt-line. I'm about to rewatch the fight on my DVR, and I'll take a closer look at each of them.

He won't beat all three, let's be honest.

Anything in the region above the wiener or towards the side I consider low blows, and he landed several, just go check it out, its clear as day.

Keep in mind that Weeks did rule one of them low, and gave Kov 5 minutes for that one, and Kov said he was OK. That one in particular was quite light though compared to some of the other ones and higher than some of the others IIRC. From memory, aside from the last one, which I've agreed was clearly low, the others all seemed to connect to various parts of Kovalev's belt. And Weeks did rule one of them low and gave Kov 5 minutes for that one. So lets just not exaggerate, but yeah I'll take a look at them all when I rewatch it.

Why don't you want to see Kov/Beterbiev winner vs Bivol/Gvozdyk though? It gives Kovalev a chance to redeem himself and they are great fights. As much as I support Ward, to win these fights he'd make the fight ugly, wear them out on the inside. Bivol and Gvozdyk are much faster than Ward imo and more explosive. The fights I mentioned would be guaranteed great fights.

Because Kovalev needs to get his head straight, he's been out of sorts for a while, he reminds me of Froch before and after the first Groves fight, Beterbiev needs to come after a few fights where he gets his **** figured out, he's too dangerous now. I give Gvozdyk and Bivol the advantage for the reasons you listed, and Beterbiev is physically stronger than Ward, I doubt he'd be as easily manhandled, so he has that edge as well.

Now Paulie is a Ward fan who thought he won the first fight, and this is a reasonable reaction.

I want to see Beterbiev, Bivol, and Gvozdyk punish the racist more though :crybaby2:. But I totally agree. I know people are going to say I'm downplaying Ward's win but I just call **** how I see it. Kovalev's career is a complete mess. Ward definitely did **** with Kovalev's head and expose the chinks in his camp. Kovalev and JDJ have to part. The guy does not respect him. How can you learn from someone you don't respect. Also factor in that Kovalev is indeed 34. Drinking problem or not, 34 is not prime condition. Ward is 33, so he's not in prime condition either though I think it's safe to say his stamina is miles better. Unless Kovalev makes a complete turn around his career is over.

This is the most ******ed line of reasoning there is. Like you are so desperate to prove hypocrisy, all common sense goes out of the window.

People thought John Wayne Gacy was great with kids based off his interactions with children in public. When they found dead children in his walls, they decided he was no longer great with children. That isn't a form of hypocrisy.

Less extreme. You get a B on your math test, next week you get a C on your math test. That C does not contradict that B. It was a different test....

    See....you probably don't.
