    I mean two VERY tainted 'wins' don't earn you that spot in my opinion. I think GGG will have that spot after defeating Canelo in September.

    Even Floyd after beating McGregor will have a more legit claim for #1 P4P than Ward!

    Canelo vs GGG winner should take the spot unless the "great" American boxing brings us another pleasant surprise in the form of robbery/controversy.

    ESPN has GGG at #1 and my guess is GGG will retain that spot if he defeats Alvarez in their upcoming bout.

    Because of the ending to Ward-Kovalev 2 (as well as how the whole fight went), I think it's going to be hard to move Ward up much now.

    If he doesn't there will be some nice 116-112 UD Canelo scorecards waiting no matter what happens. I wouldn't be surprised if they're already printed out.

    No not after that controversial victory

    P4p Floyd (if he win the Mc Gregor bull*** ) should be higher, Rio althought he also had a controversial victory today should be higher, Crawford should be ahead of Ward too and Lomachenko even if the hasn't the resume already.

    me...kovalev was a scary monster who has actually killed an opponent. ward waited for ggg @ 168 and when it didn't happen, went up and called out the scary monster. twice. he's way up there with me now.

    Nah I disagree. He got a gift decision against Sergey in their first fight and was arguably losing until the final low blows in this fight where the ref stopped it early.
