Some of those were clearly low so whatever the point you were trying to make backfired horribly.

Still haven't seen the fight, but if the blows were as low as they say, Kova should have socked him back in the nuts when he saw the ref wasn't doing anything. I'm all for clean fighting but if a dude fouls you, foul him back. I don't understand why Sergei didn't use Ward's balls as a pinata

Exactly, Kovalev should have been hitting back instead of crying to the ref. The fact is that Ward broke Kovalev down and made him want no more. He was breathing heavily and would never have lasted the full 12 and he knew it.
Also not a single puch hit Kovalevs balls, they were maybe an inch below the belt if anything

Stop crying.. There was a much higher ratio of clean body shots to low blows. Low blows didn't dictate the fight.

The belt line is the belt line and hitting there is a legal punch , anything below the belt line a low blow. Show me all the times Ward punched bellow the belt line???

Look at Haye.. Are you telling me a punch to his belt line would be an illegal low blow? :nut:

And im not defending the stoppage. Thats on Weeks , not Ward.

He's a boxing ref, not a celebrity; not every single person gets the verified tick, especially those that aren't that active as he isn't.

A lot of people don't like Ward so it's emotionally difficult to step aside from the narrative Kovalev and his team are trying to push.

Emotions aside, you have to be able to notice that Kovalev was tired, Ward was wobbling Kovalev and landing frequent power punches to the body and head..Kovalev was completely ready to go and was looking for an excuse/trying to buy himself time whilst also trying to reduce the legitimacy of Ward's punches - trying to make out they were 'low blows' when in reality, only the very last was a low blow (not including the other rounds).

Ward neutralised Kovalev's right hand, was almost exclusively head-hunting. He won rounds 1, 2 and arguably one more in my opinion but...Ward had truly figured him out.

Kovalev is a great Light Heavyweight and Ward has stopped a great Light Heavyweight.

They were low and a factor. The ref was terrible and Kovalev's corner did not yell at him enough.

Claiming that some of these are not low blows is a disgrace.
