Exactly, it's not even very difficult to understand. The vast majority of those shots
were on the beltline, there were maybe a couple that went low, this happens when
you're infighting and the fighter getting hit low holds the head of the other guy down
and the one with his head down shoots a shot. Those type of low blows aren't penalized
because the situation was created by the guy holding the other's head down.

Ward focused on the body of a guy that was huffing and got him out of there, the stoppage
was stupid as Weeks could've said the ropes were holding Kovalev up and gave him a count.
But those body shots and the fact Kovalev was dancing from that right cross meant he was
looking for a break, (not a way out but a break in action to catch his breath).

Quit discrediting fighters. Ward even before the ko was doing far better in this fight,
this was his fight after round 3 and Lederman and Rafael can't score for **** so I don't
even know why people tout their cards as some sort of holy grail of scoring.

I do not understand how an MMA fighter gets hit and kicked regularly without a belt and stands up fine but a boxer who gets hit on the belt six inches frm his balls folds up like atent in a windstorm.. . . I call BS.

I hate Ward with a passion, anyone with the ring moniker "Son of God" has a hugely inflated opinion of themselves, however, regardless of the way the fight finished, Kovalev was done. Was it a good stoppage? No, we're some of the body shots illegal? Hell yes, but in spite of that, Ward was in the ascendency and there's no denying he has some serious dog in him and will do just about anything he has to to get the win and for that he gets my utmost respect. No rematch needed as he has Kovalevs number mentally, firmly stamped. I hope he does now try his hand at cruiserweight as I doubt anyone can touch him at light heavy and that includes Beterbiev and Stephenson, nor will they want to.

Wow screen cap that. He may delete those tweets because of legal issues. This is almost evidence.

If you were in a fight that was dead even, then the guy started punching you in the ****, you wouldn't be able to do much to get back into the fight. This was the most blatant job of ganging up on a fighter I had ever seen. Kellerman, Jones, Weeks, I am very disappointed in you.

Some shots seemed low. But Kov's reaction after the stoppage was that of a man that was legitimately stopped. No fighter that gets stopped on low blows reacts like that.

You dumbasses saying that hitting on the belt line is illegal need to go back to boxing 101. This isnt 1915 when trunks had a 1 inch elastic band riding just above their junk. These guys wear beltlines that are five inches wide and above the navel. Lol. Pretending a blow on the belt is illegal is ridiculous.
