I have Ward as p4p #1 after that fight. Yes ending was controversial and yes Ward is very chippy. He fights just dirty enough.
If Triple G wins decisevily over Canelo he will over take Ward on the merit of it being a clean win with no controversy over a top 10 p4p opponent.
Lomachenko nipping at both their heals
    Ward
    GGG
    LOMA

Good resume's. But its always a matter of opinion. I rate the wins against Kessler, Froch and Kovalev over anything on Alvarez' and Klitschkos resumes.

I might not agree, but I can see why someone would pick Klitschkos resume over Wards.

Triple G over take Ward? Bwahahahahahahahaha, so that means you have Canelo #5 p4p? Loma nipping at #1 spot? How? Who has he beat that's even p4p top 25? Please give me a detailed, concise response, or you're going on ignore for this tom foolery.

I didn't see the fights but I ck'd no--even though I give props to Ward for nipping him out in both fights. I am again surprised the judges had him up again in the 2nd fight- paid close attn. on RBR. It seems Kovalev did abandon his strategy and let his guard down later in the fight and he did take some legit hits. The one shot, however, looked dangerously below the belt and they could DQ'd Ward. At least NC.
Ward is the Champ for now but God forbid he ever go abroad to fight and E.Euro fighter... this fight will resonate around the world.

I don't see how the #1 P4P fighter could be involved in so many controversial fights. The #1 P4P fighter wins fights by a clear decisive manner that is what makes them P4P #1. Ward doesn't do that.

Ok, like I said I didn't see the fight I relied on RBR comments. Maybe they were biased. I do believe this fight did expose his stamina issues and I gave Ward credit for that ...sorry if that's not good enough for you
    Lomachenko's comments were interesting.

    I have Ward as #1.

If and when Canelo beats Golovkin I may have them both as #1s, or give Canelo the edge based on recent resume.

Ward is at number 1 and it's going to be extremely hard getting him off that number 1 spot now. It's going to be super difficult for Loma to do it, he'd have to beat Mikey Garcia and a host of good names in better style.

He defeated both Nicholas Walters and Gary Russell jr. Two prime undefeated opponents. 1. Was clearly top 25 p4p (Walters) the other an oustanding blue chip prospect and espn prospect of the year Russell. Lomachenko made them both look foolish. In addition he's the greatest amateur of all time which does carry weight.
I'll admit the resume is a little light but outstanding for someone with so few pro fights. Then there is the eye test - to me it's apparent he's the best in the world he just needs the names to go with it.
If Triple G knocks out Canelo he will be p4p number one not just by me but by many ppl as he is already rated 1 by espn. So it's not far fetched.
Ward who I felt lost his last fight now won this fight he has been redeemed and is the top p4p fighter in the world.

No him being the greatest AM of all time doesn't carry weight, literally none at all. Walters hadn't fought in a year+ and was maybe top 20 p4p before his long layoff. Who cares if Russel was espn prospect of the year? Lol the things you guys say to justify your opinions are wild sometimes. But Loma is around the Mikey Garcia area p4p wise to me.

Sorry your rebuttal is weak sauce. I made my case. And most agree that LOMA is a real p4p threat
