Just answer me this...What did the ref and judges have to do with Kovalev puttering out by round 5 and the big right hand that got Kov running and hugging at the end of the fight?
Kov was only going to get beat up worse if the fight continued! But, he should have been allowed to continue!
I watched the replay in slow motion and it looked like the shot hit on the "B" on Kovs shorts. If you look at the B when Kov is upright, it is most certainly low. So I see why the Kov fans are griping. But, screw them! My experience with them has been nothing less than hostile and rude! So keep crying! I enjoy it ! In other words, if you're looking for a sympathetic ear to speak to, look elsewhere!

Kovie's shorts were pulled up above his belly button. Its an old trick to try and draw a foul. Weeks said the waistline wasnt a low blow. Ergo, Ward didnt break any rules.

First one a controversial gift decision, second fight a referee ignoring low blows and stopping the fight too early. There is a reason we have referees, to make sure **** like this doesnt happen. Its all cemented in the record books now, two tainted wins doesnt give anybody the high ground. Ward loving that homefield advantage is also another reason why He is in the same league as Sven Ottke.
