    This is the fight game , not tidily winks .

    Kovalev could not do anything back because he couldn't. He loved beating Pascal into a pulp , he wanted badly to do the same to Ward.

    Exactly! All you heard from kovalev fans is that he means business and he's not letting it go to the cards he will knock ward out. Of course none of that turned out to be true and kovalev got that work.

    You mean he was up on one card, Lederman and Malignaggi had him up.

    He wasn't "worked" at all, stop acting like Ward was winning every round.

    Stop it. Kovalev was supposed to destroy ward doe. That's what you claimed? I guess kovalev aint as good as you thought he was. He got beaten up and quit. He can't take it to the body and doesn't like it. He kept crying like a girl at borderline low blows instead of fighting back like a true champ. Kovalev rather had been any where else in the world than in the ring with ward last night. Ward bullied the bully and made him quit period no excuses.

    He didn't get the chance to because Ward was diving in with his head to avoid shots and to avoid boxing.

    Kovalev was outclassing him putting him on the back foot during the first half of the fight. I think it was round 5 or 6 that Ward began to find some rhythm and begin landing some power shots and begin fighting as if he was a fresh and prime Mike Tyson.

    Power shots that we've never ever seen him do before along with the low blows which set him up to finish Kovalev.

    We weren't banking on Ward coming into the fight roided through to the bare bones. That is what helped him survive the inital onslaught in the first opening rounds. Your boy clearly done a Jacobs and went to the cyclist they could find to help sort him out for this fight. And it worked like a charm in this case. Kovalev never expected it, I never would have imagined that a self proclaimed God fearing Christian would be so willing to take that route.

    But desperate times calls for desperate measures.
