Would be a decent fight... I'd side with Spence for size and power but Danny is tough and would keep it competitive

 

You consider the Thurman Garcia first fight competitive? Seemed like a lopsided victory to me.

 

Punching bags are tough too.

 

A lot of people did, I thought Thurman won but it was not a flashy win by any means.

 

So how is Garcia supposed to overcome Thurman's velocity, agility and greater boxing skill advantage?

Competitive? What did the punch stats in power punches landed show? Most of Garcia's were glancing blows while Thurman was moving away. Thurman's were solid as Garcia's face testified. In fact, he's lucky he wasn't knocked out in the first round. Going in again against someone who is obviously a better fighter and athletically more gifted in both velocity and agility is asking for another beating and this time he might not be so lucky.

Yea I agree. Garcia is a good man but there is no need of a rematch. Spence will go against Porter, Peterson, Garcia or Collazo next. And next year we can see Thurman vs Spence.

 

Spence vs Thurman is an interesting matchup. Collazo and Garcia don't have the velocity nor technique to compete with these two guys. Spence vs Porter will prove more competitive as well since Porter has the ability to swarm effectively to cut the distance as he did against Broner.

 

Would love to see Gift get beaten down here... Should have 3-4 losses now.
