What is your favourite TBE punch? His check left hook, straight right or left jab to the body?

The lead straight right. Absolutely a thing of beauty, imo.


Also, would like to reject the "TBE" agenda. "The Best Ever" is just another way of trying to say "The Greatest Of All Time". He is not that and it's kind of cheesy to try to push that agenda in this fashion, imo. Somehow I missed it in the thread title and I would not have posted had I noticed. Will be more observant in the future.

Straight right hand next would be the jab to the body.

 

I honestly think that SRR is the best fighter ever born, but man, robinson had not every punch in the book. His left (and right too) hook to the body was awfull, bad as F, too wide and open. He showed us the way, but he still had a lot of room for improvement compared to nowadays fighters.

 

I think you should watch a bit more of the great SRR.

 

No, I shouldnt, I've watched every single footage I've found about him, even the rare welterweights ones. Several times, a lot of them, every time I was bored I looked for footage of him. And I am right, maybe it's you the one who should follow your own advice.
