And I might add, there are alot of guys here I have seen deny the last punch was low. The capital B is the key. It is much lower than the belt line on Kov's trunks.

You try defending against head shots when you are being hit low all fight long.

Ward could have really hurt Kovalev right there. Kovalev was not defending at all and left his head completely exposed as his bent forward in agony.

Its almost like Kovalev got a free pass from Ward and Weeks at that moment.

 

Pretty hard to defend against head shots when your opponent is allowed to low blow with impunity. Same cast of human garbage also ignored the low blows that Salido was allowed to hit Loma with all fight long.

So much institutionalized discrimination direct toward foreitn fighters. I hope GGG and his are paying attention because God only knows what they will cook up against him.

 

Actually your response makes no sense to what OP said lol, the haters seem to have problem dealing with facts and keep looking for excuses for Kovalevs almost giving up and overall poor performance.He learnt nothing from the first fight in my opinion and the complications with his trainer and people Kovalev preferred to take advice from in his corner.

the bodyshots in the lower belly is what opened up the chin. Sergey was wincing in the previous round, faking a low blow. The ref gave him a breather each time and when touched in he lower belly again he folded...

 

That's why kovalev faked. There were like 3 or 4 situations like that, in every one of those situations kovalev faked or gave his back to ward. Very manly, doe!

 

What ended the fight was Kovalev's inability to protect himself and allowing Ward to T off on him. It is the ref's job to protect the fighters, and he did just that.

Had Kovalev knelt, or had he kept his guard on place, or even if he had thrown punches back, Weeks would not have had a reason to protect him.

Weeks is very consistent with his reffing.
