Now that he's legitimately proven his critics wrong and defeated arguably the best (and feared) 175 lb fighter right now how well do you think he would do against these past HOF/ATG fighters?

    Ezzard Charles
    Harold Johnson
    Archie Moore
    Bob Foster
    Michael Spinks
    Dwight Muhammad Qawi
    Matthew Saad Muhammad
    Roy Jones jr
    Bernard Hopkins
    Dariusz Michelczewski
    Thomas Hearns

He might beat DM & Hearns. The others are all-time greats, or boxers who
have proved their mettle against some of the best Light-heavies of all time.
The jury is still out on Ward.

Punch them all in the balls & have Weeks as your ref/end thread.
    All defeated.

With or without Ward's personal referee, judges and boxing commission? If they were neutral Ward would lose............

darius and dwight perhaps, otherwise its too early to define his value at LHW yet. 2 wins (or rather, one win, one draw really) against the same elite isnt enough to tell.

Ezzard Charles is considered the best light heavy to ever lace em up. Not so sure about that one.

    Real deal Holyfield

    Dwight Quawi

some of these guys may be a bridge too far. But you cant take this to the bank that SOG will bring his A game.

He'd lose to the first 8 on that list. Ward is a very good fighter but overrated, he arguably lost 12 or 13 of the 19 completed rounds vs Kovalev. That just doesn't cut it at ATG level. With the assumption that he doesn't get the superstar treatment by refs and judges to run roughshod over his opponents with illegal tactics, he wouldn't do very well.
