Shitty excuse the fact he was fighting a journeyman of Bentt 's stature was embarrassing enough......the fact he got slapped around in a round.....

Stop being a turd DinoTurd.....93 Morrison got wiped out by a fighter who had only ever beaten 4 fighters with winning records and NEVER beaten ANYONE of note until wiping out Morrison.

Also after the loss Morrison went on to fight a 8-8 Purity and was lucky to come away with a draw....

As I stated before Morrison could punch. He had speed and power but he was only dangerous for about 3 rounds. After that his conditioning or lack of fell off a cliff. If Morrison can land something clean in those early rounds yes he could certainly win. I don't believe Wlad is unbeatable but I think the most likely scenario is that Emanual Steward puts together a game plan to diffuse Tommy early and then open up with his own offense in the mid rounds.

 

What plan, wlad is a one dimensional boxer.
Without excessive holding Morrison has a great chance to stop him early

Again, Wladdy controlled the division for a decade. Morrison never cracked the Top 5... not even for a second.

 

Probably something along the lines of hitting Morrison with his jab and straight right, use his 4 inch height advantage. Perhaps bust him up around the eyes like Lennox Lewis did. Clinch when Morrsion tries to get inside and wait about 3 to 4 rounds for Tommy starts to tire. Look at some of his fights after about 4 rounds his mouth is hanging open.

 

Probably Wlad stops him in the mid to late rounds, after boxing very cautiously early on. He'll then start to get that right hand in, and then Morrison gets stopped.

Morrison is of course dangerous with his power. He had pretty quick hands himself, mainly in combination, but he's got to get in range and the right angle to land that shot. I don't think Wlad will let him get in that position.

 

Obviously Wlad controls him like he controlled everybody else that tried to get stroppy with him. Most likely he stops Tommy around the 8th after having fed him all the jabs he could eat.

 

Wlad has enough to keep away from Morrison and tie him up for a points win, narrow, or even a ko late as tommy tanks out.

Some chance of an early ko for tommy though also but slight edge for wlad really. tommy aint all that.

 

I don't know if you (or any on here) actually saw that fight. It was a one sided beating by Wlad until he ran out of gas. Klitschko did not lose because of his chin or Purrity but because of bad matchmaking and preparation.

Bad matchmaking because you cannot expect a young up and coming fighter who never went beyond 5, 6 (?) rounds to go 12 with a seasoned veteran journeyman. His handlers expected Wlad to get out Purrity early when he couldn't it was too late. He hadn't really learned to pace himself for a 12 round fight at that stage, ran out of gas and Purrity took advantage.

That's not an excuse for the loss. But let's put this fight in a proper perspective. Purrity got the win - good on him - but Wlad was beaten by his handlers/staff and his own inexperience.
