Dillian Whyte and Eddie Hearn made Deontay Wilder a huge offer.

They will just pay a nice sum of step aside money and the WBC get a huge brown envelope

    Deontay Wilder title fight purses

    vs Molina $1.4mill
    vs Duhaupus $1.4mill
    vs Szpilka $1.5mill
    vs Arreola $1.4mill
    vs Washington $900k

Wilder isn't a poor bloke, Whyte claiming they are offering 4x his biggest purse seems a bit delusional?

Wilder getting $6 mill to face Whyte? Lol how would that make any profit?
    What would Whyte be getting?

Last I saw, Stiverne said he was unwilling to take step-aside money.

That could change if the amount was enough -- or if the amount paid to Don King to MAKE him step aside was enough -- of course.

But I wouldn't take the promoter's word on faith that he's worked out a deal to have Stiverne step aside and the WBC said "if you have enough money, sure." More likely, the WBC prez said "If you can work out a step-aside deal with Stiverne, of course he can fight Whyte next."

But the promoter also said that the winner of Wilder-Whyte would get Joshua, and I doubt Stiverne is willing to sit for a year or more while all that plays out.

True but he will probably get more step aside than he will fighting Wilder. Wilder v Whyte will generate alot of money in the UK. Then the winner v AJ would make ridiculous money.

No he doesn't have to answer to anyone but when you keep saying you'll take on all comers and then when someone like Whyte steps to you and all of a sudden you're not on twitter/youtube talking anymore, that makes it look like all you do is talk.

Wilder is now taking Parker and Joshuas approach to these call outs and thats realising what you just said in your post above - he doesn't have to answer to anyone. Just don't worry about talking but more about doing. Tyson called out Joshua way too many times and now Joshuas trying to make that happen.

I honestly think Wilder would fight Whyte, no problem there but Wilders management don't seem keen on it so far. Now his managements making him look like he should just keep quiet and talk when you're about to back it up.

2 years of 'Im going to unify the titles', ok thats great, just do it already. Joshua wasn't promising unifications as many times as Wilder is and already Joshua holds the IBF and the WBA.
