Ward's entire legacy tainted

Tainted? It's not ward the one that will be looked at with different eyes by the people. Ward is ward. I have the very same exact oppinion about him and his style I had before. I dont like it.

You know who will not be the same anymore? never, ever, ever, ever?

 

You should have lowered your expectations like I did after the first Kovalev-Ward fiasco

 

I'd like a fight against Stevenson then a rubber with Kovalev, see if we can finally get a controversy free fight lol.

 

I'd prefer to watch stevenson vs kovalev better than stevenson vs ward. I would like 1) stevenson vs kovalev, and then 2) stevenson vs ward. I want those 2 fights to happen.

 

i think so too, his previous displays of going outside the rules could have been glossed over when appraising him in the future, if he had won this one cleanly, but the clear video evidence and the shady way this whole fight was handled, puts him as a dirty fighter first, and a talented fighter second.

 

You guys are upset about the wrong things. Having a great boxing career is great but Kovalev was literally fighting for nothing. He has a family to support and I get your hate for Ward but Wards team got him nearly 12 million dollars, 3 title belts and 2 wins.
Kovalev team has ****ed him training wise and financially. You guys are so blinded by hate that the enemy in your eyes has won 5 times before throwing a punch. When these PPV numbers come out that will determine who is a real Krusher fan. Ward will go home with everything but what will the favorite go home with from these rabid internet loyalist?

Maybe Floyd was right about fans, the more they hate you the more they pay you. Andre Ward is set.

 

I just like the idea of unified champions, of the best fighting each other.

But yeah Kovalev Vs Stevenson is a good fight.

 

Don't be so hard on yourself for being fooled.

Boxing puts up an impeccable facade to make out that it is fair and regulated with its slick announcers, pundits, promoters and judges in their 3 piece suits uttering pleasantries to make you believe it is honest.

Then you have the drug testing organisations that fool people into believing that they random test every fighter, meanwhile allowing certain fighters to exit and re-enter into testing programs when ever they feel like it and let their cash cows off the hook even when caught with needles in their arms

Then you have the fighters themselves who act like butter wouldn't melt on their tongues while they play being someone else in front of the camera's, thanking God and Al haymon every minute as if they are little lambs who are grateful for just being able to box. Meanwhile behind closed doors are playing double dealing politics that would make Lucifer proud.

Absolutely spot on He had the judges on his side in the first fight and it paid off (no pun intended) and he apparently had the ref on his side Saturday night. No denying this.

 

I just watched the Hague fight(the former UFC fighter turned boxing journeymen who was killed the other day in the ring) It's just amazing how refs can let journeymen fighting for peanuts die in the ring but are so trigger happy to stop an important era defining fight. Ward/Kovalev II should have been allowed to reach it's natural conclusion, Weeks ****ed up.

 

There are still a few old school honest fighters that are left whose only wish is to get in that ring and fight. No games, no bargaining and no reliance on home turf advantages in their favour.

Some of these men are no other than the likes of Lomachenko, Kovalev, GGG, Wladmir Klitschko, Joseph Parker and Beterbeiv who are willing to fight anyone anywhere whatever the price, so long as they get to lace those gloves up and display their talents to help make boxing the great sport that it is.
