    It took time for Holmes to get his due but he eventually got it having left behind many great displays of pure ATG level skill and talent.
    Wlad is like Ottke in the way they both left behind nothing to be admired. Wlads greatest triumphs came in defeat.

    I Doubt he can look any better then what he did during the first fight and sure it sucks to go out on a loss. But we all have to go someday and why not let your last performance be you fighting your heart out on enemy soil against all odds vs the younger, better champion?

    A nice easy farewell fight against wilder would be a good swansong for wlad to go out on. Shame that won't happen...wilder wouldn't fight him unless forced to.

    It's a shame Holmes couldn't figure out basically a Cruiserweight in Spinks over 2 fights....

    Wlad has looked terrible for years. When Wlad couldn't stop Jennings, who is a complete novice I knew the first decent opponent Wlad fought would beat him. Wlad also wasn't that competitive against Joshua in the first fight, since Wlad only got the knockdown because of Joshua's awful stamina. If Whyte wasn't a slob he also probably would've scored a knockdown on Joshua.

    Wlad had a great career, but needs to hang it up. Joshua will come in lighter in the rematch and finish Wlad early.

    Getting sparked out in TWO round by a past prime perennial contender from the 90's in your prime and flat out ducking a rematch is worse than losing to Spinks who is on the ATG list.

    Spinks is not an ATG hw.... And most of Holmes notable wins were against post prime guys....

    Wlad has lost 2 fights in a row. Ortiz is the one that gets his shot at AJ next. AJ is scared to death of Ortiz so he will give Ortiz the WBA belt. Wlad needs to earn another title shot or fight Wilder.
