Be interesting if BT also get Mayweather v McGregor as well.

Sky got too many PPV to fight in at the end of the year.

    Bellew v Haye/Parker
    Aj v Klit/Pulev

    Yeah, agreed...

I probably wont be buying the mayweather or the canelo one to be honest.

I would rather just go blackout and watch them in the morning.

More interested in Canelo/GGG but still probably wont buy it.

So glad Adam Smith won't be let near this fight.

"This really has the feel of your Castillo-Correls, your Hagler-Hearns, your Gatti-Ward"
"Canelo just looking toward his corner there as if to say..."

Won't have Froch plaguing my TV with a 120-120 scorecard either. I saw Nelson describe the McGregor fight as 'intriguing and interesting' at the weekend so it's clear they'll be getting it

Sky had Dana White on SSN a few days. They were going on about it quite a bit as well. So they will be taking that fight plus Cleverly vs Jack will probably be on the undercard.

Won't be staying up or waking early for a ppv. I hope it bombs here or else we will have more USA ppvs ppv here.

at the end of the day sky are more interested in money / hype than a good fight, canelo ggg is the best fight in boxing but the causals might not be into it. mayweather mcgregor is a mismatch but will do a million + buys and get all the casuals watching and talking about it therefor sky make bare £

To be fair to sky (if you can) I think they are probably in a lose, lose situation.

Sky were looking at what 4 PPV's in 5 Months... Even 3 now is abit of a joke!

If they had all over them they would be even more people complaining... so they probably thought as you say we will take the one most likely to be wanted by the casuals/produce the most money.

Smart decision by Sky in choosing to go for Mayweather vs McGregor over Canelo vs GGG.

I don't think Canelo vs GGG will sell well at all here in the UK especially given the time difference. Can't see it doing over 200k here in the UK where as May/Mac will do over 1mill most likely given that a lot of UFC fans will be buying it and going on Mayweather's past UK numbers vs Pac and Hatton.

    Shrewd business by Sky.

This. Sky need a break from ppv. Floyd v McGregor them a few weeks later Canelo v GGG wouldn't go down well.

Sky are a business (duh!) so will obviously opt to show the more lucrative PPV. Mayweather/McGregor will in all likelihood smash the PPV record held by Mayweather/Pacquiao (also shown on Sky Sports), so it makes sense for them to put all their efforts into winning the exclusive broadcasting rights to it in the UK. Hardly anybody in the UK know who Canelo or Golovkin are while virtually every casual fan has heard of McGregor and his 'appealing' trash talk/humour.

Well, the fight will be on PPV in USA, just hope it will be on the level unlike the SOB/Kovalev fight. Criminal referee Weeks, and criminal judges/boxing commission...................Oscar will own them like Roc Nation owned them for the Kovalev fight........................Golota should get his title he won from Bowe on low blows now...............
