Nobody at 160lb can put pressure on GGG over 12 rounds, they can run and jab like Jacobs but Canelo is all wrong for GGG. GGG tends to up his speed when he feels he's being outboxed as he showed vs Brook. Those body shots, no rest and cutting of the ring is a nightmare for everybody. Canelo might have success earlier in the rounds avoiding the onslaught, I'm not sure he can do it for 12 rds because I know GGG can, even in his latest bout vs Jacobs he was still in search and destroy mode till the very end.

I think Canelo is going down the first time GGG puts that pressure on him when he takes a shot to land his own, more powerful combos from close range.

Yeah its not really well known, but I've had it in the back of my head for a while, hence why I feel such animosity towards Canelo, it was reported on the scene about 3 years ago, and if you look through a lot of Mexican websites, the story is all over the place, then when Televisa got ahold of it, they got blackballed by ODLH and Canelo. They've done a hell of a job covering up the stories in the US media, kind of like how HBO and Showtime conveniently swept all the stuff about Stevenson being a torturing ****** under the carpet.

Here's a Mexican website talking about it.

Here's some black dude telling aboyut hearing the story about Canelo killing Jauregui.

GGG might lack a bit of initiative when getting outhustled in a fight, but he doesn't fold or look for ways out. He just keeps his head down and keeps working. He never striked me as emotional as Kovalev.

hes not. i actually find it kind of menacing, the way he never seems to look surprised about anything. its like he is mentally prepared for any outcome, without fear or anxiety.
"relax, this is life", seems to be his mantra.

Weve never really seen him against an elite fighter that is turning up the heat on him though.... given his reluctance to walk through fire against a vulnerable fighter like Jacobs to seize a fight thats in the air, suggests to me at least that he might not be cut of the 'warrior' cloth (for lack of a better term)

Idk we will see. Im not sure Canelo has the style to bring G into deep waters to test his resolve.

To clarify I think all fighters are warriors but im saying he might not be cut from that cloth for the sake of illustration.

i get it, ortiz and gatti are two different species. the reason i think ggg is different than kovalev, for example, is that ggg plays down his destructive capabilities and tries to be an actual nice guy, at least according to those around him. kovalev, on the other hand, im starting to find out, was a bigger bully outside the ring than inside.
when i compare personalities of real warriors inside and outside of boxing, they generally fit the ggg mold more often than not. its the self assurance that when its time, youll walk the walk that needs walking and theres no need to convince people of it.

I Feel Canelo will pull this off, if you use effective aggression with combinations you can be successful against GGG, but I could be wrong going 52-48 in favor of Canelo this is going to be a great one

Tbf Jacobs was on his bike all fight using his reach to get in some good shots... I think GGG just thought he'd get him eventually but Jacobs had a good plan and used it.

Jacobs ran all night, got knocked down, was staggered with a left jab, etc., he lost that fight.

I really do not know of any boxer that can't be hurt to the testicles, none in boxing history.........who has steel testicles? I know what if feels like, if SOB fans thing that low blows do not hurt, then they should allow themselves to be hit low a few times, actually it only take one if it is done right, with an upward motion, moves the entire jock strap.........I expect the Golovkin fight with El Pollo to be crooked, but I do think Golovkin will know how to handle it......
