On wards way up to Heavyweight & Joshua , maybe Ward should have a tune up with this guy... http://boxrec.com/boxer/579033
Kudryashov would be a difficult matchup for Andre Ward. Sure, he's slow, and Ward can probably avoid or block almost all his shots, but he hits so hard that even blocked or grazing punches would likely be very damaging to a LHW.
Would like to see Ward against Beterbiev first. He can't fight on the inside against Beterbiev and Kudryashov as he did with Kovalev, doesn't and won't have the strength to hold them off. Beterbiev a more complete fighter of him and Kudryashov with comparable power, so I'd rather see that one if I had to choose. That said, Ward boxes circles around both and UDs them IMO. Ward vs Usyk would be freakin interesting, but even then I slightly favour Ward with his experience.
Lost his first fight with Kovalev, was allowed to give out detrimental low ILLEGAL pubic shots on Kova which caused the outcome of the match and referee stopped fight on a low blow all in their second fight, but now all of a sudden he can beat a full cruiserweight fairly?
Kudryahov for all intensive purposes is a HW who boils down to CW, he's also carrying otherworldly HW power. Weight classes exist for a reason. Kudryashov KO inside 5 rounds.
I would normally agree with you Unleashed but in this instance Hunter & then Later ward have said they are looking for Anthony Joshua ...so as I have written "...On wards way up to Heavyweight & Joshua , maybe Ward should have a tune up with this guy..." Tongue firmly in cheek my friend its a ridiculous notion so would Ward defeating Kudryashov.
I like Beterbiev a lot...his style does remind me a lot of GGG, he cuts the ring off very well has power & IMO is a more complete/accomplished technical boxer than GGG.
Kudryahov is a very average boxer, only with unreal power. I doubt he's capable of landing cleanly on Ward in 12 rounds. Beterbiev I rate his boxing ability but even then I think Ward neutralises him but that one is harder to call. Against Kudryahov though, I'm confident Ward evades and pot shots him for fun. Too slow, robotic and one dimensional to vary his attack. Ward is brilliant at figuring out and disrupting a fighter's rhythm and pace.
It's not about nationality, it's about weight classes. Kudryashov is a huge cruiser with enormous power. If we were talking Ward vs Wilder, Ward vs Breazeale, etc. it would be exactly the same.
Kudryashov gets through with something atomic within 5 rounds and scrambles Wards brains and puts him out. If he thought Kovalev hit him hard... Lol
