Povetkin beat many tall guys in the amateurs, he is great body puncher and can throw combinations. Do you think he would beat Joshua?

I'd give him a 30% chance now, but time is running out for him as he gets older and Joshua more polished.

I think he COULD. Would certainly be a very dangerous fight for Joshua but definitely favor him to take it.

I think he could beat Joshua.

He's got a hell of a chin, good stamina, and good skills on the inside. He's a busy fighter and I think that if he got out of the torrid first rounds Joshua would be in trouble.

Wlad destroyed him in a technical (and sleep-inducing, for the most part) display of jab and huggery.

Joshua doesn't do that; he likes to rumble.

It would be a GREAT fight.

Not no but hell no. If Wlad couldn't beat him neither could Povetkin and Wlad fought his ass off and showed tremendous heart in that fight. Povetkin gets stopped against AJ.

This. Joshua is beatable but if i had to put money on that fight it would go on AJ. There aint many tougher fights out there for any of the champions than facing Povetkin.

Yeah, Wlad and Povetkin really share the same fighting style and Joshua have the blueprint now!

Povetkin is probably a better finisher than Wlad or Whyte at this stage of his career, if Joshua found himself staggered he might not be able to recover this time around. Joshua would certainly be a favorite, but to say that Povetkin couldn't win is just ridiculous.

I don't think he would beat Joshua but he has a better chance than most fighters.

Povetkin and Ortiz are the only guys who could give him a tough fight in my opinion, both of them are well-rounded
    fighters.

Wilder has a puncher's chance but nothing more, his defense is sloppy and he telegraphes his punches, i don't think he could win against Joshua with such flaws.

Parker is not ready yet, he is still young and he will improve but at the moment he couldn't beat AJ.

Doesn't matter Wlad is better than Povetkin and stylistically a harder fight to. AJ is a big strong fast fighter who's in his prime. Povetkin is small, old and has had his time. He would be game for about 4 rounds until AJ started landing on him the he would start to get busted up get broken down and get stopped.

I'm sorry but I just don't see it. He's too small and too old. The fight would never happen anyway because Povetkin can't be ranked by any of the ORGs.

Joshua still has a lot of vulnerabilities, he doesn't have the jab to keep Pov at bay, can't fight inside nor does he have any clinching ability. I see Povetkin getting inside and landing devastating combos.

    :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Because Wlad and Povetkin fight EXACTLY the same, right?

If they were the same fighter, then yeah, maybe. But they're not.

Didn't you say Wlad would beat AJ? When will you learn? The only guys who can beat AJ is Fury and maybe Wilder that;s it.
