    How many times has Pacquiao been the underdog with the bookmakers going into fights?

    De la Hoya
    Mayweather
    Ledwaba
    Barrera?
    Morales?

    Is there any more I'm missing out? Thanks for your help

    Maybe against Margarito, the boxer who had destroyed Cotto due to the big difference in size.

    Thanks for the replies! I do recall him being slight favourite against Hatton and Margarito but I think it's crazy how many times he defied the odds throughout his career.

    People underestimate him, obviously. Smart people know better. Plus his fans tend to get scared of every opponent, making them more dangerous than they truly are. I've read countless nonsense about how Algieri is going to beat him in the lead up...

    Why not pick Algieri? Hindsight is 20/20. I'd pick Algieri to beat up the vast majority of former Flyweight champions.

    Except Pac hasn't been a fly weight in about a decade. Pacquiao is the only one you treat like this, guys move up.

    You mean the Margarito who just got KTFO by old Mosley and exposed as a cheat? Why would Pac be an underdog for that? It was Mosley who destroyed Margarito. Was never the same after that fight.

    ODLH (+165)
    Barrera I (+400)
    Morales II (+115 but closed to -110*)

    My sources indicate that Pacquiao was favoured against Morales, Hatton, Cotto, and Margarito.

    They do, but moving up 10 weight classes is uncommon. Pacquiao being a former Flyweight champ is the only reason anybody gave Algieri the slightest chance. Had Pac been a natural Welterweight he finishes Algieri in 2 rounds.

    Pacquiao was a 4 to 1 underdog in Barrera I. I know he was favored in Morales I. Can't remember Morales II.

    Hatton was a 2-1 underdog and Cotto was a 3-1 underdog. Pac was already ranked #1 P4P when those fights happened.
