Let's talk about Kovalev's low blow on Ward. Yes on Ward.

At least one of them was a testicle punch, and the others were groin punches, illegal blows. A 5minute recovery gives KRUSHER enough time to recover from the writhing pain you get from low punches, and fights till the 12th round. win or lose, it was a terrible stoppage between 2 P4P fighters, If it had happened the other way, ward would have had 5 to recover. or KRUSHER would have been disqualified, you seem very naive to think that ward doesnt have every advantage in the book. Seriously.

 

Its unfortunate that Ward fans will have to try to rationalize his victory over Kovalev for years to come

I think Kov is partly to blame for letting Ward get away with those shots. Some of his body work was legit. Some of those shots really hurt him, and if they were indeed borderline or low, he should have forced Weeks to do something. I could understand one or two accidental ones, but these seemed to be repeatedly.

Drop down, take a knee, go wild, cause a scene. But to just take those punches and bow in pain makes those shots look like some good, vicious body attack. Couple that with the flush right that clearly wobbled him, he looked in bad shape.

With that said, the final shot was undoubtedly a low blow and it was a terrible stoppage for a fight of this magnitude.

you are a very naive boxing fan. ive already given ward credit for showing immense grit and stamina, despite him having to finish the fight illegally, I was pissed with 1st decision as KRUSHER won by about 3 rounds, and i wasnt expecting much from this fight after that fiasco, if you like unjust wins aslong its a win for your preferred fighter, then you are just a little mentally challenged and/or probably very young yourself.

I saw the first fight going either way and Kovalev quitting in the second fight. You saw it differently. I can accept that. The bottom line is that Ward has two more wins on his record and Kovalev has two more losses. Before the first fight, I had no preference for either fighter. However, after all the b*tching and moaning from Kovalev and his fans like you after the first fight, I was clearly pulling for Ward in the second fight. What did Kovalev say? " I will retire him!" "I will kick his ass!" Instead, Kovalev quit. I quess it must really hurt you over-the-top fans.
