Fowler going life and death with that can sums up what his career will be. KO'd as soon as he steps up to anything approaching a decent level.
I'm not watching this turd tonight as I can only imagine how shitte it will be. Below PPV Eddie and sky have been serving up absolute dross for a long time. It's really Only Joshua and fighters that aren't his like Groves & Chisora having stonkers on the chief supports that are propping fast car up IMO. I look forward to Eddie following through on his recent promises to match people harder/ in house 50/50. As for Bradley Saunders and Hall they are both only on the card because they live next door, nothing else.
They need to step Kelly up relatively quickly, that was a total mismatch. 6 left hooks unanswered on the ropes for the KO. Whitfield could have got up, looked at his corner and they must have told him to stay down. Totally outclassed
I really like the look of this Josh Kelly kid, don't like to hype fighters up so early in their career but you can't deny his rise to British & probably world level will be very interesting to watch
Do you like to call blokes bums from early in their careers? I don't see the harm in hyping a kid early in his career if you think he's the goods. Kelly looks impressive, and it will be interesting to see how he goes as he progresses. Seems pretty Hittable but that is his style looking for the counters and setting traps.
This is Eddies new tactic serve this up to make PPV look even better. Even his PPV cards only have up to 3 decent fights. Ffs AJ vs Wlad had 1 and Brook vs Spence only had 2! Remember when Eddie said he'd be embarrassed to put Eubank vs Quinlan card on a Saturday fight night, look at the BuglionI card ffs, surprised he can show his face in public putting that on!
I read a lot about north east boxing and a relatively big show gets put on and there's a very poor looking turn out There was plenty very talented locals out and there seem loads of empty seats in arena
Think people have been taken for mugs too long mate and many now check the opponents and records before buying tickets. Every fighter last night on the TV and Sky Sports website before were all 1/100 best price with the Bookmakers. One fighter had a record of 28 defeats from 32 fights and the announcer Craig Stephen was informed not to read it out and described him as 'highly experienced'. Eh Day simply conning the crowd. That card last night was the worst canfest ever put together and it is good that the people of Newcastle gave it a swerve. Hopefully the same happens to Eh Day's shyte PPVs through time as even those PPV mugs will eventually notice they are being conned 90% of the time.
Ditto tonight - shocking and Adam Smith should be fired for allowing Eh Day to put on such one sided pony
