A Stevenson win, especially a knock-out, would put him in a great spot. Ward will have moved up and he can say he won their first fight and was cheated in the rematch. The nature of those losses needn't define him if he bounces back in style.

It's probably best that Ward moves up and they don't fight again - it would help Kovalev push the idea he was cheated and avoided.

I've got more confidence in that than him solving his training issues. The first step would be following instructions from a trainer and that seems to be an issue for him. Changing your mentality at this age is pretty rare. Plus, his issue with body-shots may only be a fight-altering issue against Ward. He might never face someone so smart, adaptable and physically strong on the inside again.

So is Ward basically a gate keeper in your eyes? Two official losses to him means the fight game isn't for you? He's a light heavy Tony Thompson?

I feel sorry for Kovalev's next opponent.

In terms of Ward, Kovalev won the first fight and got nut-punched out of the second fight. He'll be fine.

Thank God the WWW wasn't around when Joe Louis got KO1 by Max Schmeling, he'd have lost all hope and hung it up.

KRushr needs time to recover. He has been krushed mentally. As someone famous once said in a movie, there is no prosthetic for the amputated spirit.

give him time to krush again.

No, his career is definitely not over by any means.

A fight with Stevenson next would still be noteworthy.

If not for the low blows, esp. the last one, SOB would have lost, he also would have lost the first fight if SOB did not own the judges.................

Of course not, as other posters have said, his career is still alive. It will be over once he fights stevenson. But his fans dont have to worry about that, kowardlev have no guts to face stevenson, he will fight a good amount of bums and continue his career.
