lol whatever you say sir, I've worn cups and played a role in conceiving children, my nuts aren't located where Sergeys are and cups naturally shift during a fight getting hit on the top of the cup that may be blended into the bottom of the belt line is not illegal. This is such a ridiculous argument.
Ward's arm is clearly inside Kovalev's. We've all seen the same footage, Kovalev's arm did not in anyway halt or effect the trajectory of the punch. Why on earth would you try create that narrative? We can see the bulk of Ward's glove covering the "B" lettering on Kovalve's trunks. To argue otherwise is to engage in fantasy. Weeks does not move in to stop the fight until Kovalev reacts to the low blow. Once more, this is a fact. The only way to argue in favor of this stoppage is to dismiss facts and crystal clear footage.
No offense but I'm not sure how all this is relevant. While I agree one should speculate more and trust less this particular situation doesn't seem like the formula for such a conspiracy.
I see no reason to believe your claims. And congratulations, you are now to be filed with the "low blow" deniers not worth arguing with. I've never in my years thought I would run into people so biased and disgraceful they would deny footage of a man being hammered in the nuts as evidence of a low blow. You just tried to sell me a story line of Kovalev's elbow altering the punch...man, it's on footage all over the net. Do you really think you can will the footage into something different if you believe hard enough?
I've already stated dozens of times already I did not approve of the stoppage, not sure were you've been. kovalev's arm certainly does play a role, so does his positioning and those punches didn't make the kind of devesating impact you are claiming it did, he was ripe for the picking before that, regardless of you're beliefs and how you view it. Fact is The stoppage stunk and Kovalev was systematically taken apart. We are obviously not going to agree on anything which is all good in my book you'll be fine and so will I.
If you want to honest, the first body shot on the belt line that caused Kov to crumple over and turn his back in the 8th round, Weeks could have stepped in and stopped the fight right there. Kov's body language screamed get me away from THE SON OF GOD, PLEEEEEEEEEASE!!!! Ward was going to continue to pummle the Krusher into submission. Kov is cut from the same cloth as Tyson and Judah. As long as they are winning and giving out the ass whoopins, they look great, but once someone is able to weather the storm in the first part of the fight and hit back, they all fold mentally and since they were not disaplined their stamina escapes them in the second part of the fight. Ward has written the blue print to defeat Kovalev. Regardless if you believe Ward won or not. Kov is now second tier, B level thanks to Ward.
I didn't sell you anything I merely told you facts about what happens in a boxing match in those strange positions, I've already confirmed those were low so not sure why you're getting boisterous. I've mentioned confirmation biased before and I'll say it again because you seem to think it's me yet I've already said two of the three last body punches were low. Oh well nothing more I can do here other than be put on the Cobras sh:t list.
The first couple of lines on this post can be used to write a novel regarding this fight, it seems those who oppose this fact are focused on the blows that happened subsequent to the breaking blow.
I agree that people see what they want to see and use only the bits of information that support their arguements, but I also feel Weeks could have given a count because Kovalev slumped into the ropes. I'm sure you've heard the phrase "the ropes were holding him up". Weeks should've used that excuseto give a count. I think it would have gone a long way to help keep the contraversy at a minimum, keep Kov in the fight and give Ward a good win or stoppage later on in th fight.
It's relevant because we are dealing with human beings and their tendency to be untrustworthy. That's how it's relevant.
If the ref didn't jump in then, he would have 5 seconds later, or 10 seconds later. Kovalev was dead exhausted and getting lit up.
how about asking why ward needs to resort to low blow? if he was really that confident in finishing kov, he would not have employed a dirty tactic. the outcome is not that too obvious for a sure ward win. the obvious is the blatant corruption being successful most of the time without repercussion and the worst is that some fanatics even defend it.
SOB had a lot of help from the referee, judges, boxing commission, etc., without that he would have lost just like the first fight................
