Maybe Lennox or Vitali, I think he beats the rest.

None really, with Lewis having the best shot. Holmes doesn't get the credit he deserves. He had the misfortune of coming right behind Ali. Plus, that abrasive personality didn't help. But Holmes in my opinion had the tools to defeat any heavyweight in history outside of prime Ali. (Foot speed would be the difference) a poster brought up his struggles against Norton, but in my opinion Norton biggest issue was more mental then physical ( think about this Norton was crushed by 3 fighters who came into the fight with him with the rep of being a viscous puncher, Foreman, Shavers, and Cooney) But he withstood shot after shot from a slightly past Prime Ali, and Holmes, who were both clearly better then the fighters he was crushed by. Strange but true. No fighter since Tyson had that rep. ( maybe Tua or Iabuchi, very type of fighter Norton would be blown out by). Holmes in my opinion would defeat any of the heavyweight championship caliber fighter the last 20-30 yrs. Esp these so called super heavy.

Norton was a better defensive fighter than Bowe.
Norton had a better style to face Holmes.

Nobody, not even Lewis. In his prime, Holmes was just such a complete fighter

He'd probably win a wide decision against Lewis. Possibly a KO or TKO.

Wlad. lol.. Tyson Fury busted apart that myth.

Fury vs Holmes. Now that could be a competitive match-up :rambo1:

We agree that a 39 yr old Waldo would not beat a prime Holmes.

He was a very good fighter. I would probably say he was the best heavyweight of the 1970s but he was far from being a complete fighter. No left hook, not a good inside fighter and though he had a good jab, was often lazy with it and kept it too low when bringing it back after firing a jab.
