How did you guys score Duran - Barkley?

Close fight, hard to score, but I had it for Duran by 1 or 2 points. I can see how people scored it narrowly for Barkley, but I didn't.

 

I had Barkley winning by 1 or 2 points.
I don't like seeing titles change hands on close fights like that. But Duran scored a KD and fought an admirable fight.

 

It doesn't matter for scoring purposes, but who would you have rather been after that fight? Barkley heading towards looking like the Elephant Man, Duran looked like he went for a good run. I'd call that better than fighting admirably

 

I must have watched this fight half a dozen times, it's one of my absolute faves from the 80 s. I have Duran winning but oh so narrowly. A round or two in it for me. But If Iran had been declared winner I'd have been ok with that.

Me too! love this fight. Amazing the way Duran was at such a size disadvantage and won. I had Duran winning by 2 points, basically the knock down was the difference. Barkley never complained either

I could not believe the shots he was taking without caving in. Underrated fight in many regards and perhaps one of the best performances I have seen.

Barkley was a warrior, even when toney dismantled him he still had the grace to smile and put his arms round him. He deserved every win he got that guy.

 

I had Duran by 2 rds and 3 points from knock down.
I actually had tickets 4 this fight but of course it had to snow i believe 23 inches and they shut down the AC expressway!

 

To be fair, Barkley had a scary/ugly kinda face to start with.

Do not see how you can score it for Iran.Duran by close but well deserved decision

 

Arguably the champ should of got any benefit of the doubt; but the close Duran win was fair.
