IDGAF, Canelo is still a vacator to me. And yes GGG is 35 now and Canelo is a chump for this.

Canelo wanted none of GGG before he started slowing down. In one of the most publicly embarrassing events in boxing history, Canelo vacated his world title belt to avoid fighting his mandatory challenger.

Now that GGG is 35 years old and is suffering from diminished workrate, quickness and defense Canelo is now ready to take the plunge.

Canelo is full of ****. And so is Oscar. Love Oscar as a fighter, but as a promoter you're a seedy little sucker.

Lotta guys on the Golovkin side of things making threads that are unquestionably preemptive excuse making.

Don't lump me with that crowd. I was all over this board jumping down Canelo's throat when he vacated. Hell, I was banned for a month for calling Canelo a female sexual slur when I bypassed the filter.

    **** him, vacator.

I remember the good old days when everyone and their momma were claiming Canelo was ducking GGG. And now it's all about GGG being old and over the hill, what a difference a couple of months make.

I hope you hold all fighters to that standard. Better hear you cursing out the next guy that vacates.

Canelo will be spitting blood and tasting canvas. Book it. He's tailor made for Triple G.

Some would argue it's the other way around. Canelo shines vs come-forward-type fighters.

Remember when they wanted a 34 year old Golovkin to fight a 40 year old Mayweather? A career Middleweight vs a career welterweight it was all fair in war then. Now suddenly 35 is old for Gennady and Canelo is cherry picking the "most feared boxer " in the business.
Golovkin doesn't seem to GAF. He wants that check,**** them belts and **** his fanbase, he's cashing out. They hate to hear that because it makes him no different than Mayweather or any other fighter. He is about the money and nothing else.

Has anyone considered that stardom has influenced Golovkin far more than Canelo? Canelo is used to it, you can go back seven or eight years and find people sh*tting on Canelo for being a hypejob. Golovkin was hardly a gleam in the eye of the Eastern Euro fanboys.

It's not about GGG magically turning 35. It's about seeing him decline in the ring in recent fights which is to be expected as a fighter approaches 35 anyways. The last 3 fights he's had he's not looked himself. He's slipped.

More importantly though, Canelo is a vacator and a disgrace to boxing.

Of course it's a business but I definitely, definitely do not view this as Golovkin cashing out. Honestly, that's a straight dip**** thing to say.

We should be praising for Canelo for taking the fight finally. He knows hes going to get pummeled.
Besides, its not a case where hes fighting a shot fighter, Golovkin is still the champ.
I just don't like it when Canelo says hes the best and all that while ducking, but now that hes taking on GGG he can prove it.
