    Freak show, it will be very uncomfortable to watch two 50+ year olds go at it, don't think I will be going out my way to watch it.

    Ridiculous, both were great fighters in there day, but FFS you can't roll the clock back, it is an absolute joke if this is allowed to go ahead.

    What with McGregor-Mayweather the sport is becoming even less serious and more to extract money out of deluded people who will pay for this rubbish, i certainly wouldn't be buying or watching either, not even out of curiosity.

    No terms or anything have been agreed, they've just both said they'll fight each other...believe it when I see it...

    Would I watch? If I wasn't doing anything and it was on free tv, but wouldn't cancel plans/pay...

    Personally can't see them making enough money for it to happen...

    Who has a clue who Steve Collins is beyond hardcore boxing fans who were born pre 90s?

    I would watch if it's free. No way I would pay for it.

    I think it's hard to compare this fight (if it happens) to the Mayweather vs McGregor fight. Although they are both in their 50s, it wouldn't be a mismatch like Mayweather vs McGregor. At least these two have a lot of history in the sport, unlike McGregor. Even in their 50s, both Benn and Collins would take McGregor apart in a boxing ring.

    Remember, Collins has form here. A few years ago he was trying to line up the ghost of Roy Jones, which thankfully never happened.
    Anyway, last I heard about Benn, was that he had found religion!

    i never understand why people have sucha problem with this? every sport has vets and legends matches and its always a great even and accepted, if they wanna have an exhibition match and earn a couple quid doing it, so what?

    agree, they arent going to be punching as hard, they wont be nearly as fit, they will be punched out in about 5rounds.
