Argentina strongman Roldan prime was robbed of another MW title shot as
after the Hagler despite remaining undefeated he had to wait 43 months for
his next title shot. Hagler only fought 4 x during this period.
Roldan was the Lemieux of the 80's in that his prime there
    was a dominate undisputed champion.
Roldan awkward clubbing style would be too strong for Duran in a rough
    fight. Roldan on pts.

    Duran.
Roldan had no finess Duran would make him look foolish after the first few rds and take a UD. Duran is far too skilled for Roldan. Now im Talking a Duran that was in the same condition that fought Hagler here.

As much as I like Duran, I'm leaning towards Roldan by decision.

Toss up, but I feel Duran loses to Roldan in a close one. Maybe Davidson and Hamsho as well.

Roldan would look like Davey Moore after 12 rounds with Duran, Roldan's strength would make the decision close but Duran would bust up a guy like this

At their best, Roldan isn't beating Duran. His face would look deformed after about 8 rounds.

Ken I see Duran's defense keeping him in the fight Roldan in keeping true to Argentine power punchers was a powerful fighter but lacked precision. I can't see Duran's defense failing him but I can see His sharper offense keeping him in the fight and doing some damage to Roldan in a SD

Or the Duran that beat Barkley. Roldan's style makes the fight easy for Duran.
